Personal Information Protection Policy

This privacy policy outlines the principles and practices that Tando Ltd. (“Tando”, “we” or “us”) employ in the collection, use and disclosure of personal information from people (“you”) who use our software and services.

What is personal information?

Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. This includes, for example, an individual’s name, home address, home phone number or e-mail address.

What personal information do we collect?

We will temporarily collect personal contact information for early volunteer testers of the Tando app. This data will be collected on a volunteer basis in a Google Forms form. We will only use the information provided to contact you related to early testing of the app. After the full public launch of the Tando mobile app the data will be deleted by Tando.

We do not collect any personal information from you.

As part of the normal use of the Tando website and mobile application, we do receive limited data from you about the receiver in order to facilitate transactions. The data you provide for this functionality are recorded and stored by Tando.

In the event that you proactively contact Tando we may receive some personal information from that voluntary interaction.

How do we use personal information?

We only use personal information provided by you in order to: (a) communicate with you about our software and services or your use thereof; (b) resolve problems, disputes or legal claims; and (c) develop, improve, our software and services. We only retain your personal information for so long as it is required for such purposes.

We do not provide, sell or rent personal information to third parties other than as reasonably required for the purposes described above. For example we may use a third party software product to manage customer support tickets, and those services may record the limited personal information you provide.

How do we safeguard personal information?

We use and will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to protect personal information. To that end, we use security protocols and procedures that equal or exceed industry standards.

We also use third parties to facilitate our provision of our software and services, or provide you with third party products, software or services. For example, we use a third party app stores (Google & Apple) to deliver our mobile apps to you. We do not share any of your information with them.

How do I update, correct or remove my personal information?

Subject to applicable law, you may update, correct or remove personal information. We rely on you to keep your personal information up to date. If you remove certain personal information, it may limit our ability to offer you customer support.
